Recently we completed some beautiful white oak box beams for a remodel in Texas hill country. This project called for 28
different beams in a white oak hand-hewn texture. The finished product is on display throughout this home, a truly stunning look. • White Oak Hand-hewn – These are a great option with heavy texture due to the adze marks. These are still hewed by hand by local wood artisans. Available in a variety of widths and lengths.
• Reclaimed Oak Rough Sawn – Character with a refined look. These are a cleaner option with a smooth, sawn texture. Reclaimed beams simply cannot be duplicated. The nail holes, saw marks, and ferrous black stains add to the look of these beams. A more sustainable friendly option.
• White Oak Resawn – Available in both a natural and reclaimed offering. These are a premium selection with a fresh, clean aesthetic. A great option for the more modern home build.
