Stair Treads

Lumber & Stair Treads

Hand-crafted from old growth and responsibly harvested timbers, our custom treads and risers complete the transition from floor to stair. Whether you are building a new home or renovating an existing one, we offer a variety of options to match your flooring.

The tight grain and stability of 1800’s old growth wood offers the most durable material available. Reclaimed stair treads offer great character with nail holes, saw kerf, checks, and grain variation. The unique character and durability of reclaimed stair treads is worth the investment.

In addition to traditional treads, our floating stairs create an illusion of expansive living, transforming even the smallest of rooms into grandeur. A floating staircase design is accomplished by pairing metal stringers with thick wood treads. The wood’s warmth and the metal’s strength create a perfectly balanced design that leaves you in awe.
